NAMI Frontline Wellness
What is NAMI Frontline Wellness?
The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on everyone’s mental health. But for those in jobs that are already demanding and stressful – like public safety and health care professionals – the toll can be even heavier. To help meet the needs of our frontline professionals, the NAMI Frontline Wellness initiative was developed in partnership with #FirstRespondersFirst, and with support from Starbucks, KIND Snacks, Frontline Impact Project, Johnson & Johnson Foundation, Thrive Global, Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health, and the CAA Foundation.
NAMI has made information and virtual resources available at no cost through their FrontLine Wellness Portal.
These resources include:
- Information to help identify the signs of a potential mental health emergency
- Confidential and professional support
- Peer support resources
- Resilience and wellness tools
- Support for family members
If you or someone you know is a danger to themselves or others, please call 911
