Family and Youth Leadership Summit

Registration is Open!

The 8th Annual Family and Youth Virtual Leadership Summit: May 16, 2020

Due to COVID-19, this event will now be held online with both live and recorded content.   Please join us for the opportunity to explore educational and peer led content relevant to youth and families! There will also be virtual interaction with other youth and parents and caregivers who have children, youth, and young adults with mental health conditions. You are “KNOT” alone!

The focus of the Summit is to promote parent and youth voice through knowledge, skills and networking. Our speakers and workshops are selected in partnership with a parent and caregiver planning committee and youth and young adult planning committee to maximize opportunities to gather resources on mental health, services and supports, latest trends and leadership development. The virtual Summit will provide content for both parents and youth!

Scholarships are available to help offset technological barriers that families may encounter. NAMI Virginia will pay up to $300 in reimbursable funds for parents/caregivers, youth and/or young adults who need assistance obtaining access in the form of hotspots, equipment, etc… Application process can be found in registration.
