Family and Youth Leadership Summit
Save the Date!
The 8th Annual Family and Youth Leadership Summit: May 16, 2020
Join us for the 8th Annual Family and Youth Leadership Summit!
The day includes breakout sessions/workshops, a self-care corner, expert keynote speakers, and the opportunity to interact with other parents and caregivers who have children, youth, and young adults with mental health conditions. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
The Summit is a free one day event for families in Virginia dealing with mental health and co-occurring challenges. The focus of the Summit is to promote parent and youth voice through knowledge, skills and networking. Our speakers and workshops are selected in partnership with a parent and caregiver planning committee to maximize opportunities to gather resources on mental health, services and supports, latest trends and leadership development. The Summit is broken into two tracks: Parent/Caregiver Track and High School/Middle SchoolTrack. This day of learning is held annually in the spring.
